Killing Time

We're still in Asheville, waiting for our house to sell...lots of lookers, but no offers yet. We went back to Jacksonville the past week to get all our stuff moved out, so now the house is empty. We bought a camp trailer yesterday. Earl will be going back to work next week, and he'll live in the camp trailer on the base campground until our house sells and we can buy/rent another. (We're still debating whether to buy or sell in Virginia). Earl's kept himself busy fixing up the camper. I'll take pictures to post soon.

He's still learning something new everyday. He has started sounding out words. He can sound out the beginning letters to tell you what a word starts with, and has even started sounding out the rest of the word to try to spell it. He has memorized how to spell lots of words now. Some are: Mom, Dad, Joey, Josiah, Ray, Pawpaw, Red, Go. That's all I can think of at the moment. One thing he did the other day that blew us away, was prove he knows Left and Right. He tells us which way to turn in the car sometimes. He has to know "Mama, what is it?" every time the car stops (red light, stop sign, traffic, etc).
