Joey's First Bike Show

This morning we went out to the Harley Davidson for their Easter event. Instead of putting his bike in the show, Earl decided to put Joey's in the kids bike show (pedal power only, no motorized). Joey was the first kid there to get his bike registered for the show.

The Easter bunny was there too!

Joey loves looking at all the motorcycles, but the Trikes are his favorite.

He did awesome in the Easter egg hunt, even though he's still feeling sick. Without our help, he found 17 eggs on his on. The winner in his age group had 20 eggs, which Joey could have done if we'd been pointing out the eggs like the other parents did.

They did a group shot with most of the kids and the Easter bunny.

We had a little picnic after the Easter egg hunt. Just say the word Picnic to get Joey excited.

When it was time for the kids' bikes to be judge, they had to do a ride around to show them off.

The kids all were winners and got a nifty trophy!

Joey was so in love with his trophy. He couldn't take his eyes off it. When it was time to take his bike back to the parking spot, he didn't want to. He wanted to carry the trophy instead and make Earl take the bike!

Joey was very proud of his star trophy. In the background you can see the motorcycles in their bike show.

I'm hoping he'll be getting over this sickness soon. He's had a fever off and on for 3 days now. His cough was just occassional, but now he's coughing constantly. Looks like we're going to miss out on Easter Sunday service at church because we can't take him all sick like that.

These are pictures from my surprise baby shower. It was mostly a surprise. I had a feeling something was going on, but didn't know exactly what! Thanks Charity for the awesome surprise and thanks everyone that came. It was a wonderful, wonderful time!
